Fans of the cartoon adventure have been asking for a Simpsons Hit and Run remaster for years, and a recent interview with the game's original producer suggests that could happen in the not-so-distant future.Producer Vlad Ceraldi told LadBible that he'd like to see the Springfield smash return to "multiple different types of platforms as a remake or remaster.""It would have to take the parties who are in charge of the property to want that to happen and someone out there to decide that they were going to go out and do it," Ceraldi said, "but absolutely, it would be fun to explore those characters and that universe again, that work again."

The game is still loved and played by many today on old systems and emulators, having originally been released on GameCube. PS2, Xbox and PC in 2003. Loved by kids and adults alike, it had the signature comic tone of the tv series and a series of crazy mission objectives that provided endless fun.While the prospect of a Simpsons Hit and Run remaster fills us with hope, it seems that no official discussions have taken place just yet.
